You may remember, witnesses say they saw kozak gun down 20yearold farrington while she was working at the childrens night. Police say kozak took off and eventually was arrested on interstate 80. Warrants show thats when he told ficers farrington had texted him, breaking off their relationship. He says he snapped, went to his home in North Liberty to get a gun and shoot her. Police went to the s spects home to speak with kozaks wife who confirmed kozak owned at least one gun. The newly unsealed warrants show police want to look through the phone records of farririton, kozak and his wife.
