Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will hold its first countrywide 'power show', after May 9, today on Sunday, on the call of incarcerated Prime Minister and party founder Imran Khan, Dawn reported.
According to legal experts, Imran Khan s conviction in the case could spell an end to his chances of participating in Pakistan’s national elections that are due to be held by November.
Currently, money laundering, financing of terrorism and targeted financial sanctions are enforced under different laws, mainly via the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2010, the Anti-Terrorism Act of 1997 and the United Nations Security Council Act of 1948
Whether or not elections happen in October and Imran Khan rises from the ashes doesn’t matter. To fix what has gone wrong over 75 years is what’s important.
