Srinagar: A policeman was injured after militants opened fire at forces in Anantnag district of south Kashmir on Thursday, officials said.
Militants attacked a naka party in the Bijbehara area of the south Kashmir district in the evening, they said.
The officials said a policeman received minor injuries while taking cover, adding he was shifted to a hospital.
The area has been cordoned

An official told that the patients who died since last night after testing positive for COVID-19 include 65-year-old lady from Kawadara, female from Pampore Pulwama, 56-year-old man from Sonwar, 50-year-old man from Pakherpora Budgam, 82-year-old man from Hawal, 50-year-old woman from Shangus Anantnag, 62-year-old man from Anantnag, 69-year-old man from Watergam Baramulla, 80-year-old man from Batamaloo, 60-year-old man from Pantha Chowk, 60-year-old, 65-year-old and 75-year-old male from Pulwama and 55-year-old man from Sopore.
