A trooper with Virginia State Police has been hospitalized with serious injuries after a wrong-way driver hit his cruiser head-on early Saturday morning.
Elijah Jones was arrested and booked into the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail on felony driving under the influence/maiming and open container charges.
