EndSARS Protest: Police Re-arrest Escaped Prisoner, Decry Incessant Murders

Luck ran out of an erstwhile prisoner, Obehi Ehis Frank Ogbeh, who escaped from White House Prison Yard in Edo State during the EndSARS protest last year.
Ogbeh was re-arrested by men of the Ogun State Police Command earlier this year at Agbado area of the state.
Investigations by the police revealed that his re-arrest followed the report from residents of that area about the suspicious conduct of the man and following his apprehension, it was discovered that he tried settling down secretly in Agbado area in order to avoid being traced.
The state Commissioner of Police, CP Edward Ajogun has directed that the suspect be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) for further profiling. ....

Officers of Ogun Police Command have killed a notorious cultist and suspected serial killer in Odogbolu area of the State, Owolabi Oludipe otherwise known as Somori.
The Command, in a press release via its spokesperson, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said Somori had been on the police wanted list since November 2020 when he and his Aiye cult group members killed two members of the rival Eiye cult gang, Segun Runsewe and Kayode Adegbuyi during a supremacy battle.
However, Somori eventually met his Waterloo on Sunday 31st of January 2021 when the police was alerted that he and members of his gang were planning to unleash terror on some communities in Odogbolu. ....

Men of Ogun State Police Command have killed a suspected notorious cultist, Owolabi Oludipe, popularly called Somori.
Oludipe was reportedly shot dead on Sunday, while he and his gang engaged police from Odogbolu division in gun battle.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed this on Monday.
Oyeyemi said the suspect who had been on the wanted list of the command was sighted at Ita-Ado area of Odogbolu where he and his fellow Aiye cult group were planning another attack in the Community.
He added that a distress call was made to the DPO Odogbolu division, who mobilised his men and moved to the scene. ....

Ogun wanted 'serial killer' shot dead in gun battle

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi who confirmed this to journalists on Monday in Abeokuta, said the suspect had been on the wanted list of the Command for a long time.
The suspect was said to be on the wanted list for the alleged killing of an officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Runsewe Segun last November.
He was also reported to have killed one Sunday Kayode Adegbuyi in February, 2020.
The suspect was also responsible for the killing of a rival Eiye cult group leader, Shoyombo Sanyaolu Fakoya in November, 2020 during a supremacy battle between the two groups. ....

A suspected cultist, Owolabi Oludipe, has been shot dead in a gun duel with the police in Ogun State.
Police said the cultist also known as Somori, was on Sunday shot dead while he and his gang engaged police from Odogbolu division in a gun battle.”
