Applications are now being accepted for Allegheny County’s rent and utility relief program.
In order to qualify, applicants must be able to provide proof of loss of income or employment, COVID-related increases in expenses such as medical bills, or the inability to return to work if laid off prior to March 2020. Applicants must include documents proving where they live, their income and evidence they are in danger of eviction or that they are behind in their rent.
Applications are accepted online or through ACTION-Housing at 412-248-0021. Those without internet access can visit one of seven drop-in centers:
