They fill up their gas tanks are when they go to the grocery store, but at the same time, democracy is at stake in this election. it is a dual message that i think some democrats are having more success with and others. they are out canvassing with candidates over the last couple days and certainly, when you talk to voters, when you go knock on doors, voters are not bringing up democracy. they re not bring up january 6th. when the candidates press them on, them they do bring it up. but the first thing they talked about was the economy. it was the trouble they were having making ends meet. what can you do about inflation? what can you do about gas prices? i think that s really an area where democrats need to find the balance of discussing the broad issues that matter. the future of democracy and also discuss issues that people discuss every day. you know, i think this is absolutely key. democracy is an overarching umbrella issue.
