In the past few hours, brazil released figures showing that more than 2,012,000 people are now confirmed to have covid 19. The number of people who have died from the virus has risen to 76,000. Brazil is the second worst affected country in the world, after the us, which has nearly 3,700,000 cases. The brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro says he has tested positive for a second time, after being retested. But, despite that, hes encouraging the country to reopen and return to normality.
