republican is president the deficit goes up. so they want to try to maine this fiscal conservative mantle that they have. but the facts show it is a completely false story that they have spun. kind of also brings me back to something i was saying earlier, which is the fact that a used to be that everybody wanted to be on the ways and means committee. people wanted to be in charge of the money. the money was seen as the source of power. it is so telling to me that everyone you just referenced now wants to be on the house oversight committee, which used to be where you sent people when you didn t know where to place them. it is now the assignment they all want. not for real accountability, not because when that committee functions properly it actually is one of the few checks and balances we have an executive power. no. they want to do it because they want a clip factory to feed to their outreach machine. i m so glad you mentioned that, because it s such a great
