Under the B, for Bahamas. That’s where Giselle Bergeron-Raganold will eventually be headed after winning the trip at Black Tie Bingo for the Bruyère Foundation, held at the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre on Saturday.
The OutCare Foundation is driven to fund palliative care initiatives because we have seen first hand how quality care improves the lives of families, individuals and communities. We are here to make sure anyone living with a serious illness has options. They should have access to specialized, patient centered care that treats the symptoms and the stress of living with a serious illness - at any stage or any age - because all of our families deserve nothing less.

Dave Kalil, better known as Ottawa’s Piano Man, has been sitting down to his keyboard every Saturday night during the pandemic to pound the keys and belt out the hits.
His weekly live stream concerts are performed from his home in Hintonburg, where a cozy little electric fireplace burns brightly in the background. His music helps to create a sense of togetherness amongst listeners feeling lonely, anxious or isolated during the imposed lockdowns. This piano man allows them to forget about COVID life for a while.
