A wide variety of music on the Wavelength tonight including a couple of songs from new releases. We open with two tracks from the new album by British rock group Dry Cleaning. Stumpworks continues the great musical stylings the group explored on the debut album New Long Leg - with the dry, deadpan vocals of Florence Shaw atop the great alt-rock grooves created by her bandmates Tom Dowse (guitars) , Lewis Maynard (bass) and Nick Buxton (drums.) It s a lot of fun and once again Shaw s lyrics are really intriguing and thought-provoking. We also feature a new one from Kyp Harness and a song by Dan Mangan that reminds us that we have people/friends in our corner even when we full desperately alone with our troubles.
