Two hospitalized following apartment fire in Otay Mesa KGTV and last updated 2021-02-03 22:14:41-05 (KGTV) Two people were taken to the hospital following an apartment fire in Otay Mesa Wednesday night, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department. The fire started on the 1180 block of 30 th Street around 5:30 p.m. Crews say two people were taken to the hospital. Two cats also died in the fire, according to the department.
