Coronavirus double and triple mutants are the same: Study:- The coronavirus created a shallow across the globe and the second, third variants made space after a vaccination for the deadly virus is discovered. The people are in left in panic with the ongoing speculations about the double and triple mutants of coronavirus. Keeping an end to the speculations, National Institute of Biomedical Genomics Director Soumitra Das said that the double and the triple mutants detected are the same and the available vaccines are effective on the virus. Soumitra Das spoke at a webinar on Genome Sequencing of SARS-CoV-19 . He said that the double and triple mutants are colloquial and they refer to the same: B.1.617 variant of the coronavirus.
