cleveland s own fox 8 news. the cleveland fire department hard at work today, battlingba several fires across the city. here you can see crews on the scene of a home on east 57th street. early this morning, a different place on east 130 third. good evening everyone, i m jennifer jordan. and i m bill j sheil. and a sad story here, not everyone made it out life in either of those fires. fox eights brittney harris has more on the investigations. i heard the sirens and they stopped right in front of the house. i went to my front door and looked at what was happening. i saw some firefighters pull out it sl time to get out of here. eric gergotz is anxious to get back into his house here at east 57th in cleveland. he was told her to her his neighbor s home caught fire to evacuate. it happened sometime around noon on saturday. he says they haven t heard very much, bute they do know apassed away. it s real bad over here. the streets are blocked off and the fire keeps going.
