Ten New Alaskans Inducted into the Innovators Hall of Fame
On April 7 the Juneau Economic Development Council together with the State Committee for Research had the honor of inducting 10 innovators into the Alaska Innovators Hall of Fame.
“The Alaska Innovators Hall of Fame was established to recognize individuals who have demonstrated innovation in creating or facilitating outstanding inventions or lifetime achievements in their field that have made a tangible impact on quality of life, economic development, the environment, the welfare of the people of Alaska and/or a global impact,” says Vice President of Academics, Students, and Research Paul Layer. “These are inventors and innovators in the fields of science, engineering and technology.”
