Some relief expected Tuesday (live updates) OregonLive.com 6 hrs ago Savannah Eadens, oregonlive.com © Mark Graves/The Oregonian While Portland reached a record temperature of over 110 degrees Sunday afternoon, people gathered at Keller Fountain Park to take a dip and cool off. “When will this be over?” was the question likely on every Portlander’s mind Monday as temperature records fell for a third-straight day. The historic heat wave overwhelming the region led to all-time high temperatures records falling across the state over the weekend and on Monday. Portland hit 115 degrees Monday afternoon, setting a new record high temperature for the third day in a row, according to the National Weather Service. Before the weekend, Portland’s record high temperature was 107, first set in 1965.
