In addition, i just wanted to acknowledge theres not the transit connections, but the street connections, all the traffic safety, the street management. Its due to your leadership and management and your staff, so thank you. Yes. Ive known ed for quite sometime and various capacities, and ive just come to enjoy watching him in this. As a board member, ive relied on your leadership. Ill definitely miss you. Its bitter sweet, a loss to the city, but at least youre just across the bridge, so we know where to find you. Greatly appreciate your leadership and support in everything youve done over the years. Ed, along with all the thank yous, what youve done not only for the city and county of San Francisco but for the region is priceless because the things that weve just talked about dont observe city limits or county limits. They extend across the bay, the state, and even across the country. Because of where the money comes from, the co ....

Good morning, madame chair and members of the committee. Before we start, lets hear from the b. L. A. Dan gonchar. The proposed budgets for fiscal year 2020 is. more than the original fiscal 1819 budget. The dps proposed 11 million budget for notice cal year 2021 is 215524 or 1. 8 less than the mayors proposed fiscal year 1920 budget of 12 million. A recommended reduction to the proposed budget toele thats 772,000 in fiscal year 1920. All the recommended reductions are ongoing savings. These reductions would still allow an increase of 35323 or. 3 of the departments 1920 budget. Our recommended reductions for the proposed budget total 74261 in fiscal year 2021. All of the 74261 in recommended reductions are ongoing savings. My understanding is that we do not have agreement with the department. We have two recommendations. They are both related to upward substitutions of two substitutions. One is proposed upward substitution of a 7205 chief stationary engineer to a 7120 buildings and

We are the custodian of the second most valuable assets of San Francisco. Thats the value of our collection that im constantly reminded of. So i think they were clearly working very hard to make that lower the cost of to the city. But, on the other hand, with must the city covers less than onethird of our operating budgets. As the city increases and the operating sbunlts getting smaller. Our objective over the years, we decreased a percentage of city support. Eventually we get to whether ideally we all want to get to. Thank you. Thank you. It is an important part of San Francisco, fabric of our city. Its just hard for me to recognize the departments request as opposed to the b. L. A. Recommendations when our other museums are only receiving about a 10 per visit or subsidy. So, that is my comments and what i noticed in looking for my documents. Thank you for your answer. Thank y ....

It will expire over a period of time. And then the responsibilities will go back to just maintaining the facilities as they are. And there are other resources to manage the Capital Development of that building. Thank you very much. Thank you for your patients. Thank you, chair. Just a followup question. I noticed that the city spends 58 per visitor to the Asian Art Museum in subsidy from the general fund and the target is 45. And for last several years, that target has been missed and im trying to understand why the target has been missed and why we continue to subsidize at such a higher amount. Thank you, supervisor. I think the asian museum occupies a very special place in the community of San Francisco. We are bringing the vast range of cultures from asia as well as asianamerican cultures which are mostly not so ....
