The Fairbanks City Council voted Monday to postpone a proposed economic development partnership with the Fairbanks North Star Borough, citing continued questions and issues between the two municipalities.
The resolution would allow the borough to spend economic development money inside city limits without running into red tape, effectively treating it as an areawide power.
