On the Town: Remember crazy socks on Sunday! By: Lillie-Beth Brinkman The Journal Record March 16, 2021

The Down Syndrome of Central Oklahoma is celebrating World Down Syndrome Day Sunday with crazy socks, a kite party in an Oklahoma City park and a virtual sock hop.
So wear your crazy socks that day to show your support of DSACO, the local organization’s nickname, and enjoy a day to “Knock Your Socks Off!”, the awareness campaign’s theme. Show up for some kite-flying fun between 2 and 4 p.m. at Stars & Stripes Park, 3701 S. Lake Hefner Dr., and then enjoy the sock hop between 7:30 and 8 p.m. with the Down Syndrome Association of Tulsa. That night, the Skydance Bridge will be lit up in blue and yellow.
