Can you gauge how much influence you think they have today? it s clear they have a huge amount of influence. but it s a chaotic administration. and trump seems to be, you know, open to being influenced by nancy pelosi and chuck schumer on one day and by hard-line republicans on the other. so it s anyone s guess as to who will prevail in the end, but the fact that there s been so much staff turnover in this administration, the last people standing really since the campaign are ivanka and jared. do you get a sense that their opinions on things, their perspectives and views have morphed at all since being in washington and part of this administration? you know, i can t it s hard to say because they let their opinions and views be known, but only through anonymously sourced stories in the new york times and elsewhere. they re very careful about not taking a line publicly one way ....
Them considered outsiders in what is now going to be a very contentious race. so what might this mean potentially between the relationship of the u.s. and france. let s talk more about this as well as the upcoming 100-day mark for the president of the united states. with me now, political analyst alice heniken and brian morganstern. alice, what do you see potentially the impact between this french election and the foreign policy still in the making for president trump? well, the easy analogy is to try and compare le pen to donald trump, and in some way she s the trump of france. but the match-up is a whole lot different. macron is much more of an urban sophisticate type. it is almost a city mouse versus a country mouse type of race. but the analogies are clearly easy to see. and watch out for those russians. they re messing around in this ....
Years is this years? too many things can happen that can hurt people in our nation and around the globe if this president isn t checked. so right now, i don t care about 2020 and 2018. tomorrow, literally, i m going to my office today to be working on legislation, on coalitions, on reaching out to people, to fight this president because in my opinion, the things he has told us he intends to do are dangerous. not just to democrats, but dangerous to poor people, dangerous to people liing on vi the margins and bisexual transgender people and people in small factory and inner cities. and i m gearing up for the fight today and don t care about tomorrow. are you open to it? i m open to fighting. open to being president? i am not open to being president and i don t want the discussion right now because i think that s an attempt to distract people from the work we have to do right now. so senator booker, thank you so much. i had to push him a little bit, ....
I don t know if you can see it from here but there s another honk and wave. this is it something that s happening every day we ve been here. people driving by you ve had groups of people hoisting their confederate flags and saying wave at us if you re on our end. other people saying honk if you want to take it down. the honking has been pretty loud since governor nikki haley signed that bill removing the confederate flag one person still holding out. they have their confederate flag and u.s. flag flying upside down. a lot of jubilation here in the park. and i wanted to know quickly, did nikki haley mention one of the people she gave the pen to was governor beesdy. he is believed to have lost his seat in part because he fought to get the flag taken down off the capitol dome. this has long been a contentious issue. a lot of people happy it s been resolved. thank you guys all for your time. ....
