Guy s own office came forward, alleging he committed bribery, abuse of office another potential crime. the department of justice has investigated those claims. then some of those ager came for double whistle were fired, and subsequently filed a lawsuit, alleging improper retaliation. earlier this year, paxton settled with whistleblowers, for three point $3 million. money he asked the legislature to give him out of taxpayer funds. now, these two republican-led branches of texas government have a beef that is exploding out into the open. the house, particular the speaker, dave feeling, does not want to give paxton that money. so they launched investigation into the attorney general, accusing him of committing multiple crimes, including felonies and hearing yesterday. paxton immediately fired back, accusing speaker of being drunk on the job. and calling on him to resign. again, to be fair to paxton here, something did sound off the other day. ....
