A staff member at Opal Aged Care in Sale has tested positive to COVID-19. It is understood the staff member is Wellington Shire s already-announced case, which caught COVID-19 at a football match in Melbourne. OPAL Aged Care in Sale is in lockdown as a precautionary measure after one of its staff members tested positive to COVID-19 while in isolation. A Gippsland Region Public Health Unit spokesperson confirmed this was not a new case for the Wellington municipality, and relates to the confirmed case which is in home quarantine. A person who lives in the same household is also quarantining. An Opal spokesperson said the Public Health Unit had advised the facility that a staff member, who was not infectious while in the facility, had subsequently tested positive to COVID-19. ....
