Sonu Sood who emerged as a national champion for the migrant workers and the less fortunate during the pandemic had contracted the novel coronavirus last week. The actor has now tested negative for Covid-19 a week after staying in home quarantine recuperating.
The Dabangg star shared a picture of himself sharing the good news with fans on social media. His diagnosis had become a cause of concern after the actor last Friday informed his well wishers about having tested positive.
He had written: Hi everyone this is to inform you that I have tested positive this morning for COVID-19. As a part of precautions, I have already quarantined myself and taking utmost care but don t worry this gives me ample time to solve your problems remember I am always there for you all.” ....

Sonu Sood, on Friday, announced that he has tested negative for COVID-19. In addition to an update about his health, Sonu also got a critically ill COVID-19 patient airlifted in an air ambulance from Nagpur to Hyderabad, to get the special treatment done.
The 25-year-old girl, Bharti, who had lost almost 85-90 percent of her lungs due to COVID, with Sonu s help had been shifted to Wockhardt hospital for her treatment. The doctors had said that she needed a lung transplant or some special treatment which was only possible in Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad. ....
