A woman who tried to knock some sense into her love rival with a stone will spend the next twelve months in prison for grievous bodily harm.
Had she not shown remorse for her actions, 33-year-old Onkamile Masisi (33) of Sorilatholo would have been looking at doing a 4-year jail term, but Molepolole Magistrates court considered her plea and suspended three years of the sentence.
Masisi is said to have attacked her love rival, Kekgatlhwaemang Phitlha, on December 22, 2018 at an entertainment joint as she believed she was having an affair with her boyfriend.
According to facts of the case, on the fateful day- at around 9 pm, Masisi who was in the company of her boyfriend, Rantwa, confronted Phitlha while on entertainment at Platinum Bar at Ditshegwane village. ....
