Vandaag vieren moslims over de hele wereld Ied-ul Adha, het offerfeest. In Suriname is deze dag een nationale feestdag. Er is een totale lockdown op deze dag. Er is dispensatie gegeven via moskeeën aan mensen die moeten slachten. Minister Bronto Somohardjo heeft de natie gisteren via de televisie toegesproken.
