Omega Mart, the art installation disguised as a grocery store at Area15, has so much more to it than meets the eye. Hidden inside the exhibit, a bar dubbed Datamosh with eight specialty cocktails.
Much like the Impact Corn, Caltucky Freedom Glaze, and Americanized Beef, fake products found inside Omega Mart, visitors will have to search for the bar; staff won’t direct anyone to the space that features no signs. Instead, it’s one of those things found organically.
The little bar features the Blank Berry Bliss with the Real McCoy Rum, Wolfberger Litchi, Calpico, house-made pink peppercorn Champagne syrup, peppercorn, lemon, and basil seed; the Source with El Silencio Mezcal, Lillet Blanc, shiso, tarragon, lime, and aphoto-worthy rosemary bubble filled with smoke; the Happle with Yobo Soju, Chareau Aloe Liqueur, happle juice (made from unfiltered apple juice, simple syrup, and rice milk), Apple Schnapps, club soda, citrus, and apple blossom bitters.
