Twenty-four Nigerians have sued Nigeria’s electoral commission, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over the closure of voter registration ahead of the 2023 general elections.   The 24 plaintiffs filed a lawsuit on Friday before the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja against INEC for “failing to give them and other seven million Nigerians adequate time and opportunity to complete their voter registration after they have carried out their registration online.”   ....
