Lagos Government Delaying Prosecution Of BRT Female Passenger, Bamise s Murder Case, CDHR Laments

The Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR), on Tuesday, decried the delay in the prosecution of the alleged murder case of 22-year-old fashion designer, Bamise Ayanwola by the Lagos State Government.  Lamenting, CDHR Chairman, Lagos State branch urged the Lagos Government to accelerate the hearing of the alleged murder case for the sake of Justice.  He said: "The case has been in court since March 2022. CDHR has been monitoring the case but it is so sad that up till date, the case has been suffering series of unnecessary adjournments.

Lagos Pathologist Confirms Bamise Ayanwola Was Murdered, Says Death Was Caused By Blunt Force Trauma

A pathologist at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Prof Sunday Shoyemi, has confirmed that 22-year-old Oluwabamise Ayanwola, was murdered. Shoyemi on Friday told a Lagos State High Court sitting in Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), that the death of Bamise who was allegedly murdered by the driver of a bus belonging to the Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) scheme, Lagos State was caused by a blunt force trauma.
