And making sure that they can sustain an earthquake is so critical to protecting the lives of our citizens. In fact we are all reminded from last week, the major earthquake that happened in Southern California and the devastating impact it had on that community, we are reminded that we have to be prepared. Its not about if, its about when a disaster strikes. So what are we going to do to make sure that our Public Safety personnel can focus on the work that they need to do to save lives and not necessarily the challenge that exist with the buildings that house them and what could happen to people that we need to shelter in a disaster. Kezar pavilion is not seismically safe. It is one of the facilities that could qualify for additional revenues so that if necessary, we can use that as a shelter facility in case a disaster hits. We have to be thinking ahead in not only repairing the buildings that we know need to be repaired, like park station, which is currently undergoing some renovatio

Bush for the record, he wanted me to read the editorial that appeared in the chronicle regarding the last meeting when the commission decided not to send the measure to the board of supervisors pending further work. The editorial was titled osf ethics board fays to tackle money and politics. It appeared september 27th in the conical. It chronicle. It realdz they had a chance to pass a common sense measure to curtail money and politics. It failed. It would have banned the practice of allowing political donors to contribute to the charitable causes of favorable candidates when they have a land decision in front of city officials. Welcome to Corona Heights located in the heart of this district. It offers a view of the downtown skyline the bay bridge, and the east bay. It is one of the best kept secrets in the city. It is hardly ever crowded. On any given day, you will run into a few locals. Bought a 37 bus to get there without any parking worries. For legged friends can run freely. There is also a patch of grass for the small box. It is a great place. It is a wonderful place to have these kinds of parks. That dog owners appreciate it. Take time to notice of the wildfires that are on the grassland and keep your head out on the lookout for hawks and other bird life. Be sure to take your camera and be prepared to take a view of the city will not forget. It has a beautiful red rock formations. You could watch the sunrise over the ba
