Investigation. Randy, police say she appeared to give into the robbers demands. Do we know why she was then shot . Reporter we dont. It appears she was cooperating. This 48yearold store owner is closing up for the night when she was shot in the neck. She was last listed in Critical Condition. And this morning her neighbors are describing the effort inside that freddy Grocery Store to save her life in the aftermath of this shooting. Police say the gunman entered the store around 9 00 last night. A neighbor came upon the scene a few minutes later, found the store clerk holding her neck bleeding profusely and the gunman was gone. Police say it appears this was some sort of robbery attempt because the Cash Register was open. And one neighbor we just spoke with whos a former paramedic said she ran into that store, saw the v ....
