The entertainment industry bid a tearful farewell to Kollam Sudhi, the renowned mimicry artist and film actor who tragically lost his life in a car accident. The funeral proceedings for Sudhi were solemnly conducted, with thousands of mourners gathering at the Reformed Anglican Church of India Cemetery in Thottakkad, Kottayam, to pay their final respects.
Binu Adimali and driver Ullas, who sustained injuries in the accident, that claimed Kollam Sudhis life, are showing signs of improvement. Binu Adimali, currently under observation in the intensive care unit, has overcome the initial danger. However, he continues to receive specialised care to aid in his recovery.
In a heartfelt gesture, R. Sreekandan Nair, the Managing Director of Flowers TV and 24 News, has revealed that the Flowers Twenty Four family will step forward to help build a house for the bereaved family of the late Kollam Sudhi.
In a solemn mourning procession, Sudhis body arrived at the rented house in Ponganthanam around 8:30 in the morning. The procession was filled with mourners expressing their final respects and bidding farewell to the beloved actor. After an hour of public homage at the residence, the body was then taken to Ponganthanam UP School.
Mimicry artist and actor Kollam Sudhi, who left a lasting impression on the entertainment industry, will be laid to rest today. The cremation ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Reformed Anglican Church of India Cemetery in Thottakad, Kottayam, at 2 p.m.
