Almost 63,000 residents in Strathcona County have received at least one jab of COVID-19 vaccine.
As of May 30, almost 64 per cent of residents in Sherwood Park (more than 52,800) and 57.7 per cent of residents in rural Strathcona County (more than 10,000) had received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

At the local level, the pandemic is improving on two fronts: the spread of COVID-19 is dropping, while the vaccination uptake is increasing.
As of May 25, more than 60 per cent of residents in Sherwood Park and 54.8 per cent of residents in rural Strathcona County have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

Within a week, 5,000 additional shots were given to residents residing in the Park (a 6.2 per cent increase) and more than 900 residents in the rural area received one jab (5.2 per cent increase).
