HUDSON The Hudson Business Improvement District has announced the winners of its first holiday decorating contest. The $250 first place prize was awarded to the Serra family of Old Stow Road. The $100 second-place prize was awarded to the Gross family of Gately Avenue and the $50 third-place prize was presented to the Bear family of Cherry Street. The winning downtown business was Sereni Salon on Market Street. Nineteen homeowners participated in the contest. “The judges noted that all the homes that were entered and all of the downtown businesses were beautifully decorated making it very difficult to pick winners from so many worthy candidates,” according to a post on the BID’s Facebook page. ....
