HILLSBOROUGH – The McDonald s on Route 206 will have a new look and one more drive-thru window if the township zoning board approves the proposal.
The fast-food restaurant is scheduled for a public hearing before the board 7 p.m. Wednesday. The meeting will be held virtually.
McDonald s, one of the first fast-food restaurants in Hillsborough and a Route 206 fixture for four decades, is proposing both interior and exterior renovations.
The freezer will be relocated to the inside the building, the seating layout will be changed, new signs will be installed and the exterior appearance will be upgraded.
Site improvements include a redesigned parking lot, upgrades to ADA accommodations, a relocated trash facility and new lighting and landscaping.
