According to deputies, a family called 911 on Tuesday night after three men entered a home where they were renting a room on Old Harden Blvd., pointed a gun at them, and demanded that they leave. Deputies say the suspects escorted the family outside at gunpoint and told them they could find their belongings in the yard later. ....
LAKELAND Three men are under arrest after Polk County Sheriff’s deputies say they went on a 24-hour violent crime rampage that left one man shot and a family terrified. Deputies say it began on Monday evening when a black GMC SUV occupied by three men pulled up to a gas pump at the Circle K store on West Pipkin Road near Old Harden Boulevard. One man, who was later identified as 42-year-old Gardell Young Jr., pumped gas. A man waiting at the store for his friend to get off work said he talked with one of the vehicle occupants, later identified as 38-year-old Seth Deming. The man then walked across the parking lot and Deming got out of the SUV and followed him, the Sheriff s Office said. ....
