Instead of looking up, Barbara Beeman is looking down. The Bayonne photographer’s new photo series, “Nature’s Mirror,” was created when Beeman decided to look at the world through puddle reflections. The photo exhibit can be seen at The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey in Summit from now through April 4.
A lifelong Bayonne resident, Beeman has practiced the art of photography since attending Jersey City State College, now New Jersey City University. Some of the photos in the exhibit were taken in New York City while others were taken locally in Liberty State Park, Bayonne, and Hoboken.
