The Lagos State Special Task Force on Land Grabbers has begun investigation into the petition against an All Progressives Congress (APC) leader in Lagos State, Chief James Omolaja Odunmbaku (alias Baba Eto) over land grabbing accusations. A man, Olufemi Omoola Fasehun, has accused Odunmbaku and his associates of attempting to take over a piece of land situated at No. 10, Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun, Lagos.
Some policemen in the Nigeria Police Force from Oko Oba Divisional Police Station in the Ojokoro area of Lagos State on Tuesday evening reportedly shot a motorbike rider in the head and took away his corpse. Eyewitnesses told SaharaReporters that the incident happened at Olayiwola Street, Social Club Junction in the Abule-Egba area of the state at around 7 p.m. “Policemen shot a bike man in the head and left with the corpse, at Olayiwola street, Social Club junction, Abule-Egba.
