BHS junior earns scholarship to Oklahoma Leadership Conference

Matt Fries, vice president of the Bartlesville Future Farmers of America chapter, earned a full scholarship to the Oklahoma Leadership Conference and was recognized at the 2021 Oklahoma FFA State Convention on April 28.
Fries will join 60 other Oklahoma FFA members and attend the conference May 31- June 4 in downtown Oklahoma City. The Oklahoma FFA Alumni Association sponsored the scholarship.
“I am excited to meet other FFA members from across the state while learning leadership skills that I can bring back and share with our chapter,” Fries said.
OLC is the replacement for the canceled Washington Leadership Conference that is typically hosted by the National FFA Organization in Washington, D.C.
