A Penticton barbershop is supporting a young boy in his battle with cancer.
Okanoggin Barbers Ltd. is sponsoring a fundraiser to support Wills Hodgkinson, 10, who is battling cancer for the third time.
The barber team will donate their day’s pay on Saturday, Feb. 27 and at the end of the day, will hold a raffle draw with proceeds going to Hodgkinson and his family, according to the barber shop s press release.
“We decided to do this because we believe we have an avenue and relationship with our community to bring people together to help someone who so deserves it,” says Peter Beauchamp, owner of Okanoggin Barbers, in the press release. “We are strong believers of community supporting community and this one does that so very well.” ....
