He was alerted on his phone about the fire at his address, and rushed home. Now he is devastated after of valley hill fire and rescue says it was especially tough to respond to a fellow firefighters home. 3 chief tim garren, valley hill fire rescue we wanted to do as much as we possibly could and with it already being as far ahead as it was and not to be able to do more, it was just an emotional, physically draining for them and emotionally draining for them. Investigators believe an electrical issue may have started the fire. The valley hill fire chief is asking for peoples donations to get hill and his wife back on their feet.
