Landslide kills collier, traps five in Mastung Landslide kills collier, traps five in Mastung QUETTA: At least one coal miner was killed and five others were trapped due to landsliding in Marwar coal field area located in Balochistan’s Mastung district on Thursday. Officials of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) said that eight coal miners were busy digging coal around 800 feet deep in a coalmine during which a portion of the mine caved in. The rescue teams of the Mines Directorate and PDMA rushed to the site after receiving information about the incident and initiated a rescue operation for the safe recovery of trapped coal miners.
