NEGAUNEE No injuries were reported after a fire erupted in a building at the Superior Auto Sales and Rental property along U.S. 41 in Negaunee Township on Thursday afternoon.
The building was a complete loss and the cause of the fire remained undetermined and under investigation as of Friday, officials said.
Negaunee Township Fire Chief Jeff Kontio’s alarm sounded at 2:23 p.m Thursday, calling his firefighting crew to Superior Auto Sales and Rental in response to a fire that had erupted in a building located in the back of the property.
