Brianna, thanks so much. appreciate it. there are growing calls for a second south carolina police officer to face prosecution following the fatal shooting of walter scott. that second officer who arrived on the scene shortly after scott had been shot filed a report saying he gave first aid to scott by applying pressure to his wounds but with the release of the eyewitness video, that doesn t appear to show that. he s now facing accusations of attempting to cover for michael slager, the officer that s now charged with scott s murder. nick valencia joins us live from north charleston. what s the latest? reporter: good morning, john and kate. the national bar association is calling for the prosecution of that officer that you just mentioned asking if he was complicit in a coverup and if he did enough to help walter scott in the immediate aftermath of the shooting saying that second officer you see on this tape, his police report seemingly favoring the version of events of officer sl ....

So again, a very powerful moment just seven days after walter scott was shot and killed by officer michael slager. at this point, i can tell you we re preparing to see the folks that filled the facility you see behind me walk back out. we re also expecting to see mr. scott s flag-draped casket also carried back into the hearse. and this outraged community did put protests or demonstrations on pause. they said today it s about supporting the scott family. but i can tell you after today s day of solemn remembrance, there will be so many questions to be asked, including why did scott run a week ago. and, of course why did officer slager respond with deadly force. fred? and polo even on interviews here on cnn, brothers and ....
