A shooting in Modesto last summer that left one man dead has been deemed justified by the Stanislaus County District Attorney on Thursday. Following a review of all evidence pertaining to a shooting in May of 2020, Stanislaus County District Attorney Birgit Fladager said the officer was justified for the shooting.In a letter sent to the Modesto Police Department on Thursday from District Attorney Fladager, the DA s office highlighted the conclusion it reached regarding the incident.
