On Feb. 22 at 10:40 a.m., Officer Pino spoke to a resident about a broken window in his residence. The resident said he noticed his dining room window was broken and suspected a rock had been thrown through the window. However, a rock was not located inside the residence or directly under the window outside. On Feb. 22 at 11:06 a.m., Officer Hughes was dispatched to a residence on a medical call, as it appeared an individual attempted to overdose using fentanyl patches. The individual was transported to the hospital for treatment. Officer Hughes notified the department’s social worker, who responded to the hospital and notified a family member. ....

His info ended up on the internet On Feb. 15 at 10:50 a.m., Officer Mankavech spoke with a man reporting an unemployment scam. He said a third-party vendor used by his employer was hacked in December and his personal information was posted on the internet. He stated he recently received a letter from the Kentucky Unemployment Assistance program stating he qualified for unemployment benefits. He was advised to contact the credit reporting bureaus and request a freeze be put on his credit and monitor his accounts for any suspicious activity. ....

On Jan. 18 at 7:20 a.m., Officer Dennehy was on patrol when he observed a Toyota SUV traveling at a high rate of speed on Washington Street. He confirmed by radar that the vehicle was traveling 47 mph in a 30 mph zone. He stopped the vehicle and spoke with the male operator and asked for his license and registration. The operator did not possess a valid driver’s license. He will be summonsed to Dedham District Court on a charge of unlicensed operation of a vehicle and speeding. ....

On Jan. 4 at 1 p.m., Officer Pino spoke with a woman about a possible attempted breaking and entering overnight. She said that at 2:30 a.m. her dog began barking which was unusual. She noticed some footprints in the snow around her house. Officer Pino checked her residence and did not notice any signs of attempted forced entry On Jan 4 at 4:51 p.m., Officer Harris spoke with a man regarding identity theft. The man said he had been the victim of a fraudulent unemployment claim a few months prior and had reported the issue to the Office of Unemployment. On Jan. 3 he received a “Go Bank” debit card along with paperwork with his name on it in the mail. He stated he had not opened a new account.
