As late 2001 turned into 2002, I had just left airport consulting firm LeighFisher Associates to start my own cargo-focused firm and was managing (on a part-time consulting basis) air cargo affairs for Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA), which needed supplemental support and I was available.
