Guam receives $210,000 funding to buy life support vehicles


The Department of Interior awarded Guam $210,000 to buy two Advanced Life Support cars for the Guam Fire Department.
Advanced Life Support vehicles come with airway help, cardiac life support, and cardiac monitors, allowing paramedics and EMTs to start IV, give medications, and inject patients on their way to a hospital, according to a news release.
“These purchases will complement our first cohort of paramedics expected to graduate from the Guam Community College this year,” said Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero. ....
