Now cal tran acknowledges there may be another problem developing north of town between the beach and Stinson Beach which makes only one way out of town that road has been reduced to one lane for a couple of years it has been a content, a matter of contention for quite a while. Caused by years of drought. One of the gutters is broken. But we were pretty lucky. Power lines were no match for the winds and there were scattered Power Outages through the area. Firefighters said it made for a dangerous situation on the streets. The bottom line, power is out in lots of places in the city right now. We have downed poles everywhere. When you approach an intersection that has no power, treat it like a fourway stop. Reporter the power is still out in this area. In fact, there are no street lights or stoplights in this area, so traffic is moving slowly through the area as well. You can see that pg e crews have a lot of cleaning up to do. There is a lot of debris that they have to clean up before they can even start restoring the power. Its going to be several hours if not a day or two before this situation is cleaned up.
