A resolution is in the works for a Wallaceburg woman who was charged in connection to a Chatham rally last November that protested COVID-19 restrictions.
Laura Myers, 32, made a brief appearance via audio at the provincial offences act court near Blenheim Wednesday on a charge of failing to comply with the Reopening Ontario Act.

The court heard that some video has been provided to Myers’ lawyer and that resolution discussions are ongoing. The matter was adjourned to June 16 for resolution discussions to continue.

She is accused of organizing a rally on Nov. 21 at Tecumseh Park in Chatham, which included a march through downtown Chatham and attracted more than 100 people.
