To go down. b.p. trying again today to cap the oil leak that s dumping thousands of barrels of oil into the gulf of mexico. they re using a second smaller containment box known as a top hat after the first larger box failed on saturday. this as top oil executives face a second day now of grilling in washington. julie is in washington with more on today s hearings. a lot of blame going around, right? that s right. we re likely to hear more of the same from these executives today as they go before a house committee investigating the cause of the big explosion and the ongoing oil spill with no end in sight. yesterday, the topic is b.p. america, transamerica and halliburton faced a committee. they tried to shift the blame as senators grilled them about how much they re willing to pay for cleanup and more. the executives did not toss around exact figures. instead, for example, the president of b.p. promised only that b.p. will pay all necessary cleanup costs and all legitimate ....
